I volunteer as Fire/EMS first response and a camera helps document accidents as well as recording our own driving events. I was so enthused from the reviews I bought two of these cameras from Amazon. Both have been running now for a couple months dutifully recording everything that happens while driving in each car... I thought. Like most here, I checked the video early on and everything was fine. However, when the card fills up the trouble begins. It misses large gaps of video. Another reviewer here mentioned it sometimes takes 5 minutes to start recording which is exactly what I see on both of these cameras. I would assume, with two samples purchased at different times, it would not be a "bad camera". Another reviewer mentioned the instructions recommended formatting the card two times a week.
