This review is from: Power Acoustik CPT1-2200D Mono Block 2200 Watt 1 Ohm Stable Class D with Dash Mount Remote Gain Control, Phase Switch and Selectable 45Hz Bass Boost (Electronics) This is a new product from Power Acoustik and it comes with a gain control! I have it pushing 2 Kicker Comp 10inch VR's. I've had them installed for a week now and it works well, plus I have the gain control set at quarter power to break in the subs. Plus the design is nice too to show off. I was searching on Amazon for about a month to find the best amp for my subs, and a mono class D is the best choice to push subwoofers. This review is from: Power Acoustik CPT1-2200D Mono Block 2200 Watt 1 Ohm Stable Class D with Dash Mount Remote Gain Control, Phase Switch and Selectable 45Hz Bass Boost (Electronics) So i just got this, with 1 Power Acoustic 15" . it says 1 ohm stable, i wired it correctly and it was working good for a couple hours and it just started to die on me... the amp had power to it but the sub just wouldn't make any noise... wired it as 2ohm and this thign runs great.. miss the 1300rms the amp delived at 1 ohm but the 2 ohm load is great.. really dont have to worry about my sub dying or anything.. def a great buy for the price. I replaced a small Alpine amp with this one and it really pushes the 10"'s really hard. The only thing I dont like about this amp is the looks, the skull look doesnt do it for me. But the price and power makes up for the looks. I have purchased 3 complete car audio systems(decks,amps,speakers) off Amazon and extremly happy with almost everything I have purchased.
