I kept waiting for some kind of catch but haven't found one. anyway, I received the DVD Player, installed it and what can I say its perfect! the built in FM modulator works great, the screen is bright and clear, and it looks great in my 2003 Element. I still cant figure out why these are being sold so cheap but at $35, I ordered 2 more :) it says 1 to 3 months for shipping but I got my first one in about a week. still waiting on the other two. Planet Audio is a good brand I had a few PA amps when I was into car stereo when i was in my teens so I can say that they are a good company from experience, granted its not a name like clarion or alpine but this DVD player is DEFIANTLY worth much more than the price paid. At *that* price they would be a five star item, based on price alone. Unfortunately, I can't bring myself to review solely on price, so here we go:Pros: 1. It works. 2. Three different face plates/panels are included to match your interior. Cons: 1. The mounting bracket is very weak and bends easily, making proper alignment a chore. 2. The monitor itself is way too hard to bend down, flexing the unit (and the roof) every time it is opened. 3. The dome light is pathetically dim and directional, making it inappropriate for dome light replacement (a common installation method). 4. The installation directions are poor at best; if you haven't done a lot of wiring or stereo installation work, you probably will want some help with this. It isn't at all "plug and play". 5.
